Another Great Project by Jen
Last December our class made and sent 30 holiday cards with information specific to our classroom and with information about the average temperature in our area. We made our cards factory style, with some students folding, some cutting, some printing, some assembling and all of them stuffing envelopes. The cards were addressed and sent off early in the month. After a few days we were happy to get a card in return and for a couple of days we waited for more. Then all of a sudden our mailbox was overflowing and we couldn't keep up with opening, sharing and displaying our new cards. It was exciting to see the variety of cards that arrived and also to compare the temperatures from all of the cities where our pen pals lived. The cards were hung in the hallway along with Mrs. Marchini's and Mrs. Crull's cards. We had over 90 cards displayed from different parts of the United States and Canada. It was a wonderful project!
